10W of Output Power in DIP16 Package: EC5DAW Series Packs a Punch!

The EC5DAW series is a new compact 10 Watt DC-DC converter in an extremely compact DIP16 package, making it extremely versatile for applications where space is at a premium.
The EC5DAW series is available in two 4:1 input ranges covering 9 to 36Vdc & 18 to 74Vdc, making them suitable for all industrial input ranges covering 12V, 24V and 48Vdc systems.
The EC5DAW series of DC-DC converters offers 10 watts of output power with output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, ±12, & ±15VDC.
Units come in an industry standard package measuring just 0.95” x 0.54” x 0.39” or 24.2 x 13.7 x 10.0mm and an operating ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C with allowable case temperatures up to +105°C which is a result of a very high operating efficiency of up to 89%.
The EC5DAW is CE / UKCA marked in accordance with EN62368-1 and is tested to 3000Vdc / 2000Vac isolation as standard.
The EC5DAW also has very low no-load power consumption (<7mA), and a remote on/off control, making it ideal for use in energy-critical systems.
Units feature protection against input UVLO (under-voltage lockout), output over-current, output over-voltage, and over-temperature and continuous short circuit conditions.
