SR1600 image
The Cotek SR inverters are designed to convert either 24V or 48Vdc battery voltages to 110V or 230V ac mains power.  Each SR-1600 module can output 1600 VA (48V/1600W, 24V/1200W) with a corresponding rack which can accept up to 4 modules providing up to 6.4kVA in output power.  System power can be further increased up to  51.2KW  by paralleling 8 racks, 32 modules in total with SNMP communication options available on request.

New case Study – Airborne Surveillance monitor

PCAP touch panel 175x175

Our customer was developing a new airborne surveillance monitor used to control and view the output from precision cameras.  They wanted make use of as much existing technology as possible but were keen to move away from their existing resistive touch interface (single point) and migrate to the latest projected capacitive technology.  This would provide improved accuracy and also add multi-touch gesture control. November Asian Supplier Visit

We end with a summary of the highlights of the visit to Asia by Peter Lappin and John Stone at the beginning of November.
Here at Relec we believe that it’s vitally important to maintain a good working relationship with all our suppliers.  This is best achieved meeting them in their own environment and finding out what their plans are for the next 12 months.  Some of the highlights of our recent visits were:

Mornsun – Fantastic tour of their SMD facility and very excited by their plans to extend the railway portfolio in 2018 (More news to follow in Q1 2018)

Cincon: – Our first meeting with Cincon, and very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge.  Product roadmap fits perfectly with our plans for 2018

At Digiwise we were able to see their plans to develop their own AD boards and new developments in IPS (in plane switching) panels.

During our visit to Rocktouch we experienced our first ever visit to a PCAP (projected capacitive) touch panel factory and met a team of highly enthusiastic engineers and production staff.
We also got to eat some pretty amazing food!
