The DRE480 Series by Chinfa

Relec Electronics is pleased to announce the general availability of the 480W DRE480 Series slimline DIN Rail Mount AC DC Converters from Chinfa. The DRE480 family is part of the well-established DRA/DRE Series of power supplies aimed at industrial applications.

THE MEASUREMENTS

The slimline DRE480 Series measures in at just 83.5mm, the same as the existing DRA240 family. With its high headline efficiency of 94%, the DRE480 series can supply a fully rated 480W at up to 55 degrees centigrade.  The DRE480 series also has the capability to supply up to 720W for either 3 seconds or a 20% duty cycle.

THE VERSIONS

The 480W DIN Rail Mount DRE480 series is available in 24V & 48V versions with adjustment ranges up to 28V and 56V respectively. Units also have the ability to be parallel connected with active current sharing for higher power applications.

THE APPROVALS

All Chinfa DIN Rail power supplies are fully approved to EN/UL62368-1 and meet the industrial norms for EMC emissions and immunity. Additionally, all units are TUV & CE Approved. All units also come with a no-quibble 3-year manufacturer’s warranty for peace of mind.
