What does USB-C PD mean?

USB-C PD means USB Type-C Power Delivery. It allows a compatible device and power supply to communicate and select the required voltage and current. What output voltages does the EU204AS provide?

The EU204AS incorporates separate USB-C and USB-A outputs. The USB-C port supports 5, 9, 12, 15 and 20 Vdc profiles, while the USB-A port supports 5, 9 and 12 Vdc. Each port supplies one negotiated voltage at a time according to the requirements of the connected device.

Does the EU204AS use GaN technology?

Yes. The EU204AS is a GaN Power Supply incorporating gallium nitride semiconductor technology. GaN supports efficient high-frequency switching and increased power density, helping the adaptor provide two charging outputs from a compact plugtop enclosure.

How much power does the EU204AS supply?

When used independently, the USB-C port operates as a 45W USB-C Charger and the USB-A port delivers up to 18 W. When both ports are used simultaneously, the total output is limited to 30 W, divided into 20 W through USB-C and 10 W through USB-A.

Does the EU204AS include every interchangeable AC plug?

No. The EU204AS does not automatically include every available AC plug. UK, EU, USA, Australian, Chinese, Korean and Indian plug options can be requested according to the intended market. EU204AS Series

The EU204AS Series is a compact dual-port GaN charger equipped with USB Type-C and USB Type-A outputs. The USB-C port delivers up to 45 W when used independently, supporting 5, 9, 12, 15 and 20 Vdc USB Power Delivery profiles. The USB-A port provides up to 18 W, while simultaneous operation delivers a combined 30 W across both ports. Compatibility with PD 3.0, QC 4.0 and QC 4.0+ supports fast charging for a range of compatible electronic devices.

The charger operates from a universal 100–240 Vac input and is available with interchangeable plugs for the UK, EU, USA, Australia, China, Korea and India. It meets Energy Efficiency Level VI requirements and includes automatic short-circuit, overvoltage and overcurrent protection, with optional overtemperature protection. The compact 50 × 48.3 × 30.4 mm design has an MTBF exceeding 100,000 hours and carries approvals including UL 62368-1, EN 62368-1, IEC 62368-1, FCC, CE, PSE, UKCA and BSMI.

EU204AS Series USB-C PD plugtop Adaptor

The EU204AS Series is a compact dual-port USB-C PD Plugtop Adaptor equipped with both USB-C and USB-A outputs. When used independently, the USB-C port delivers up to 45 W with 5, 9, 12, 15 or 20 Vdc profiles, while the USB-A port delivers up to 18 W at 5, 9 or 12 Vdc.

This GaN Power Supply supports USB PD 3.0 and QC 4.0, providing flexible charging for compatible industrial handhelds, IoT equipment, networking devices and embedded systems. When both ports are used simultaneously, the unit supplies 30 W in total: 20 W through USB-C and 10 W through USB-A.
