Transflective TFT Displays

Relec supplies transflective TFT displays designed to maintain readability across changing ambient light conditions, making them particularly suited to outdoor and sunlight-readable applications. The current DigiWise range includes 2.4″, 2.8″ and 5.0″ TFT LCD displays, with resolutions from 240 × 320 to 800 × 480, brightness levels from 180 to 400 cd/m² and operating temperatures down to -30°C and up to +80°C, depending on the model. Transflective technology uses ambient light alongside the display backlight to support visibility in bright conditions, making these TFT displays suitable for marine, industrial, automotive, instrumentation and outdoor equipment.
