1. What output models are available in the AD-1500-HV Series?

The series includes 120Vdc at 12.5A, 150Vdc at 10A, 250Vdc at 6A and 400Vdc at 3.75A models. Each version provides a single output rated at up to 1500W.

2. Can the output voltage and current be programmed?

Yes. The AD-1500-HV allows both voltage and current to be programmed from 0–105% of their rated values. This supports applications requiring adjustable operating points, constant-current control or automated power sequencing.

3. Which communication interfaces are available?

Interface options include RS-485 with the Cotek protocol, PMBus, Modbus and Ethernet. The appropriate interface card must be specified when ordering, as the available protocols and parallel-operation capability depend on the selected version.

4. Can multiple AD-1500-HV power supplies operate in parallel?

Yes. The A23 and A24 interface versions support parallel operation with CANBus current sharing. This allows multiple units to supply higher system power or support scalable equipment designs.

5. What applications is the AD-1500-HV suitable for?

Typical applications include automated test equipment, industrial automation, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, laboratory instruments, laser systems, high-voltage battery charging and DC bus architectures. The Cotek AD-1500-HV Series is a 1500W programmable AC-DC power supply for industrial systems requiring controlled high-voltage DC power. Output models include 120Vdc, 150Vdc, 250Vdc and 400Vdc, with voltage and current programmable from 0–105%.
