The FDA50F accepts a wide single-phase input range of 180–528Vac. It supports a nominal frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz and can operate across a wider frequency range of 47–440Hz. The unit can also accept a 255–746Vdc input, although its safety approvals do not apply when using a DC input.

2. What output does the FDA50F provide?

The FDA50F-24 provides a regulated 24Vdc output at up to 2.1A, delivering a maximum output power of 50.4W. The output voltage can be adjusted from 21.6Vdc to 26.4Vdc.

3. Does the FDA50F require a cooling fan?

No. The FDA50F uses natural convection cooling and does not require an integrated fan. It can operate from -20°C to +70°C, subject to the load, mounting orientation and temperature derating requirements in the datasheet.

4. What protection and compliance features does the FDA50F include?

The FDA50F includes overcurrent, overvoltage and inrush-current protection. It complies with SEMI F47, IEC 61000-3-2 Class A, UL 62368-1, C-UL and EN 62368-1. The FDA50F does not include active power factor correction.

5. What mounting and configuration options are available?

The Cosel FDA50F is a compact 50W AC-DC power supply designed for industrial equipment operating from high-voltage single-phase inputs. It accepts a wide 180–528Vac input and delivers a regulated 24Vdc output at up to 2.1A, providing a maximum output power of 50.4W.
