APPLICATION

The DCS1400B DC-DC Converter from Cosel is a compact, high-power bus converter designed for distributed power systems. With an input range of 200 to 435VDC and output power up to 1404W, it offers wide voltage adjustability—down to near 0V, and constant current control, making it highly adaptable. The unit supports parallel and N+1 redundant operation, with optional features like a built-in ORing MOSFET and remote ON/OFF control for enhanced system flexibility.

It includes robust protection features such as overcurrent, overvoltage, and thermal shutdown. The design is fully isolated and optimised for conduction cooling, ideal for systems with limited airflow.

Certified to UL62368-1, EN62368-1, and compliant with CE, UKCA, and RoHS directives, the DCS1400B is well-suited for telecommunications, industrial automation, and data centre applications where reliability and compact power delivery are critical.
