APPLICATION
The BCH Series from Calex is a rugged line of 3,000W bi-directional, non-isolated DC-DC converters designed to support intelligent in-vehicle power distribution across 12V, 24V, and 48V battery architectures. Supporting both buck and boost operation modes, these converters enable energy transfer in either direction, charging the low-voltage battery under normal operation and supplementing the high-voltage battery during peak demand or fault conditions.
Available in three variants, 24S12.215BCH, 60S12.215BCH, and 60S24.107BCH, the series covers 12V/24V, 12V/48V, and 24V/48V battery configurations, offering exceptional flexibility for hybrid and electric vehicle systems. All models integrate CAN 2.0b communication, support programmable current control, and maintain constant voltage or current depending on system demand.
Packaged in an IP69K-rated aluminium enclosure with high power density and up to 98.4% efficiency, these converters feature overcurrent, overvoltage, and over-temperature protections with latching safety mechanisms. Each unit includes integrated temperature monitoring and programmable current interfaces on both low and high voltage sides.
Built for demanding automotive-grade applications, the BCH Series is ideally suited for micro/mild hybrid e-Mobility systems, commercial vehicles, and energy storage platforms where precise bi-directional power management is essential.
