Relec’s RS232 transceivers solve specialised networking requirements for various applications and power supply systems, providing solutions for 5 Volt, 3 Volt operation.

Relec’s range of isolated RS232 transceiver modules integrate a transceiver, isolation chip and high efficiency isolated dc dc converter in one single module. Their compact size, low power consumption and high reliability  make them suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.   We can supply modules in either CAN bus, RS232 or RS485 formats.  Our technical team are on hand to take you through the advantages of each format.

Traditional transceivers can only receive and send data, which requires an external isolation chip/opto-coupler and isolated dc dc converter to complete the solution.

The new integrated Isolated RS232 transceiver modules highlighted below, provide a combination of transceiver IC, isolation chip, opto-coupler and isolated dc dc converter in a single package.
