ODS-1500 Series
The ODS-1500 DC-AC inverter provides reliable power conversion for railway equipment, industrial automation, transportation systems and other applications requiring a stable ac supply from a dc source. Models deliver 1200 or 1500 VA, depending on the selected input configuration, with efficiency up to 91% and input-to-output isolation of 3000 Vrms. The inverter incorporates a controlled internal fan, overload and overtemperature protection, RS232 monitoring and programming, an isolated output-failure alarm and selectable 50/60 Hz operation. Industrial and optional EN50155 railway versions are available, with railway models also supporting the EN45545-2 fire and smoke requirements.

ODS-1500 Series
The ODS-1500 Series provides a pure sine wave 120Vac or 230Vac output from 10.8-138Vdc inputs, offering efficiencies up to 91% and selectable 50/60Hz operation. Designed for compact chassis mounting, it includes RS232 monitoring, remote inhibit, and alarm functions. Ideal for railway, automation, and industrial systems requiring high reliability and compliance with EN50155 and EN45545-2. Certified to EN60950-1, EN62368-1, and EN61000-6 standards.

The ODS-1500 Series supports nominal input voltages of 12, 24, 36, 48, 72 and 110 Vdc. The corresponding operating ranges extend from 10.8 to 138 Vdc, depending on the selected model.
The ODS-1500 provides a regulated single-phase pure sine wave output of either 120 or 230 Vac. The output frequency can be selected as 50 or 60 Hz, while output voltage and other parameters can be configured through the RS232 interface.
Most models deliver 1500 VA of continuous output power. The versions designed for a nominal 12 Vdc input provide 1200 VA due to the substantially higher input current required at this voltage.
Yes. Optional railway versions are available to meet EN50155 requirements for rolling-stock applications. These versions also support EN45545-2 fire and smoke requirements and are designed to withstand demanding railway operating conditions.
The current manufacturer datasheet specifies operation from −40°C to +55°C at full load. Operation up to +70°C is supported at 62.5% load, subject to the applicable derating requirements.
The existing Relec page lists the full-load minimum temperature as −25°C. Premium PSU’s current datasheet, dated 20 October 2025, specifies −40°C, so I recommend updating this technical field.
