APPLICATION

The CHS60 series DC-DC converters from Cosel are compact, high-efficiency power modules designed for applications requiring reliable and efficient power conversion. With a power output range of up to 72W, the CHS60 series is available in three models—offering 3.3V, 5V, and 12V outputs—suitable for a wide range of industrial and electronic applications. The input voltage range of 36V to 76V DC makes these converters highly adaptable to various power systems, with an impressive efficiency of up to 93%.

These DC-DC converters feature advanced protection circuits, including overcurrent and overvoltage protection with automatic restart functionality. Remote ON/OFF control (negative logic) is provided, along with remote sensing for accurate voltage regulation.

The CHS60 series ensures high stability with minimal ripple noise and fast start-up times (50ms max). With an isolation rating of 2,250V DC (or 1,000V AC) between input and output, these converters offer safe and reliable operation.

Designed to operate in extreme environments, the CHS60 series can handle temperatures from -40°C to +85°C and altitudes up to 5,000m (16,000 feet). With a compact size of 19.05 x 12.7 x 23.36 mm and a weight of just 15g, these power modules are ideal for space-constrained applications. Certified with UL60950-1, C-UL, and EN62368-1, the CHS60 series is an efficient and versatile solution for powering modern electronics with flexibility and safety.
