LM Series AC-DC Converters: Why Compromise?

The LM series AC-DC converters from Mornsun are available across six power ranges from 15W – 100W. The cost-sensitive converters are available at lead times as low as eight weeks.

The converters are designed to meet the demands of a variety of applications including IT, household appliances and industrial power systems. 

The series comprises the  LM15, LM25, LM35, LM50, LM75 and LM100 models. There are six power ranges (15W, 25W, 35W, 50W, 75W and 100W) with outputs from 5V to 48V.  All units have a universal input from 85V to 305Vac and are compliant to EN55032 class B for EMC. 

Universal Input Voltage Range

The LM series outputs are all regulated and have low output, low noise and low ripple characteristics. They are designed to meet energy-efficiency standards with a low standby power of <0.5W.

The AC-DC converters are offered at best-in-class prices and – crucially – are available at lead times as low as just eight weeks. Typical applications include harsh environmental conditions, such as industrial control and automation, machinery and instrumentation, as well as cost-sensitive applications in network security, the smart grid, Internet of Things (IoT) applications, building control and household appliances.

Designed for Harsh Environments & Safety Approved

Despite the cost-efficient pricing, the manufacturer maintains quality and performance.  All products are approved to international safety standards including EN/UL61558-1 (industrial safety for power supplies and transformers), EN/UL62368-1 (IT and AV equipment) and EN/UL60335 (household appliances).

All models have 4000Vac input to output isolation and are designed around input over-voltage category III. Operating temperature ranges from -30 to +70°C under convection cooling conditions.

The LM series is able to operate in harsh environments and can withstand 5G vibration, as well as altitudes up to 5,000m.  All units are supplied with perforated cases and terminal covers and come with a three-year manufacturer’s warranty.  There is also an option for conformally coated units and wider customisation on request.

All models are covered with a three-year warranty.
