Relec Electronics are pleased to announce the launch of the cost-effective and ultra-thin LD30-23BxxR2 Series from Mornsun. The LD30 R2 Series, Mornsun Power’s compact and high-performing AC-DC Power Supplies, are ideal for white goods & household appliances, instrumentation, communications, and process control applications.

The series of 3 ultra-compact variants (PCB mount, din rail & chassis mount options), have a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, low no-load power consumption (<0.1W), high power density, with dimensions of 69.50 x 39 x 24mm.  They can also be used in applications with requirements for higher input voltages up to 305Vac and altitudes up to 5000m.

Ultra-Slim

With ultra-thin dimensions of only 69.5mm x 39.0mm x 24.0mm, the compact profile of the LD30 R2 Series makes them ideal for applications with space limitations. The LD30 R2 series and are fully mechanically and electrically compatible with other brands.

All modules comply with the global universal voltage requirements (110 / 220 / 277Vac), and have a wide-input voltage range of 85 – 305Vac as well as 100 – 430Vdc for DC applications.

These units can satisfy EMI Class B standards and +/-2kV surges without any external circuitry, and all products meet IEC 62368 / UL 62368 / EN 62368 safety standards.  The LD30 series is also compliant to EN61558 Overvoltage category III.

Alternative to Meanwell’s IRM-05, IRM-10 & IRM-15 Series

Mornsun have successfully developed -M versions of the Universal input 5W, 10W and 15W LD-R2 Series, which are direct alternatives to Meanwell’s IRM-05, IRM-10 and IRM-15 Series.

These are all Class II products which meet CISPR32/EN55032 CLASS B with additional filtering and now show a simple filter network which can be implemented to enable use in Class I systems.
