Index Matching

Index Matching is a simple process pioneered by Varitronix which can improve the contrast ratio of a TFT-LCD panel by up to 4 times. It involves the application of special optical glue between the LCD and the anti-reflective treated top glass. The benefits of this process include:

Reduction of internal reflection
Improvement in sunlight readability
Increase in the ruggedness of the display
Improved protection against water and dust
