Hydrostatic pressure level sensors use an integrated silicon strain gauge diaphragm to measure static liquid levels such as water in reservoirs, rivers, tanks and other vessels. This technology is widely proven and provides long term reliable performance in field conditions. The sensor is fully submerged into the media and the static liquid head above it is simply measured as pressure (1 bar = 10m H20 approx at SG1.0) A stainless steel diaphragm fully encloses the silicon element within an electron beam welded capsule. The IP68 moulded polyurethane cable can be supplied with optional flange or screw mounting termination box.
Features
o Ranges from 0.1 barg to 10 barg full scale (1m to 10m H2O at SG1.0)
o Output 4-20mA (2 wire operation), supply voltage 13-36Vdc (500 Ohms max)
o Optional flange or screw mounting cable suspension/termination enclosures
o Wetted materials stainless steel 304/316, polyurethane cable (100m long max)
o Stainless tube versions can be supplied for turbulent or high temperature liquids
