Relec Electronics is pleased to announce it is adding a new 3.2” portrait transmissive WVGA 240 x RGB x 400 resolution TFT display to its product range.
Ideal for hand held devices it offers a standard form factor with high end optical specifications, good viewing angles and cost effective integration of colour and functionality.
Brightness is quoted at 500cd/m2 viewing angles of up to 60/60/70/70 meaning it could also be used in landscape mode with minimal loss of viewing angles and is equipped with a 16/18bit interface and 262K colours.
Outline dimensions are 47.5mm(H) x 80.7mm(V) x 2.4mm(T) with an active area of 41.76mm(H)x 69.6mm(V). Pixel size is a square 0.174(H) x 0.174(V) again ideal for turning through to landscape if required and it uses an LED back-light. The display is equipped with an anti-glare and hardened coating.
Operating temperature is -20C to +70C and the interface uses a Himax HX8352-B controller.
